Where to get your fashion fix this Xmas

Don’t know where to get your fashion fix this Xmas? We have done all the leg work for you to bring you a list of our absolute favs and where you can watch them:

House of Gucci – in cinemas now

If you haven’t seen it yet and you love fashion, get yourself to a cinema to watch the amazing Lady Ga Ga in House of Gucci. Lady Ga Ga is rumoured to have gone to incredible lengths to pour her heart and soul into the role and it really paid off. Paulo Gucci played by Jared Leto is wildly entertaining too. Don’t miss it!

Emily in Paris – Netflix

We binged Emily in Paris in about two weeks, just for the fashion alone. Critics weren’t that kind to it, mainly due to the stereo typical portrayal of Paris, but if you liked Sex and the City chances are, you are going to like Emily in Paris too. Lilly Collins plays Emily and it was written and produced by Darren Star who also gave us Sex and the City.

Gossip Girl (2007-2012) BBC iPlayer/Amazon Prime

We still love the upper east siders, Serena, Blair and Chuck are still our favs, but to be honest we haven’t seen the reboot and chances are we are going to love that too. Just putting it out there …. did you all know that Chuck Bass was born in Stevenage? That boy did good!

Killing Eve – Amazon Prime Video/Apple TV

Even though Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer is a psychopathic assassin, and Sandra Oh, is the British Intelligence officer tasked with tracking her down, Jodie is actually the best dressed, most fashionable assassin we have ever seen! Who’d have thought it?

Halston – Netflix/Amazon Prime Video

Halston was a 70s designer whose designs built an empire and propelled him into international super stardom. His clothes inspired and redefined American fashion. Ewan McGregor plays the fabulous Halston. Well worth a watch.

Devil Wears Prada – Apple TV/Amazon Prime Video

An oldie but a goodie. Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep tell this tale of New York’s biggest fashion magazine and rumour has it, it is partly inspired by an assistant that worked for Vogue’s Anna Wintour. Have a watch and make your own mind up.

Me before you – Netflix

Not traditionally known for being a fashion movie…however, we love Emilia Clarke aka Louisa Clark’s style in this heart breaking tale (no spoilers we promise). In fact we may have a little girl crush on her for her clothes sense, and her utterly delightful outlook on life. Don’t miss this one…it’s older but still brilliant.
